I have this friend who I thought I'd finally gotten rid of... but no! The phone rang the other day so I answered it to find the unpleasant surprise of his voice on the other end URGH. He invited me to his house tomorrow and I couldn’t think of an excuse in time so I had to say yes.
He's weird me and him just don't go together. Help me get him out of my life he's like a bug that won't fucking die no matter how many times you crush, burn or spray it.

I hadn't spoken to him once for three years then he managed to find out where my new house was and turned up outside my door I mean what was I meant to say then go away!??

Just gently but clearly tell him you feel as if you two 'don't go together', you're obviously giving off the wrong impression. It's good to be polite and friendly but not when someone you don't like is annoying you so much and giving him the wrong impression (or he sees things differently).

I used to be friends with some boy and whenever I was around him we really got on and I really liked him, but he didn't really like me. He confused me and sent me mixed messages, eventually I sent two emails to him, one about him and one about me, yet for some reason he didn't get the latter one, but whenever it was about him he'd get it and talk to me for ages. It got to the point where I asked him why he didn't answer this pretty important email, he said he didnt get it, but I caught him out, he did but just didnt care enough to answer.

I wish he just made it clear or even hinted we weren't friends instead of just basically use me whenever he needed someone to talk to.

I had the exact same problem. Kept putting it off and never telling him directly that I didn't want to see him any more. Eventually I got too fed up and just flat out told him. Haven't talked to him since.
